Sitting in a motivational seminar, you get many great ideas from speakers on growing your business… how you can do that! Then you can hardly wait to get back to the office to start implementing “that.”
Then you meet a constituent in the hallway, during a break. They share something they’ve done in their company, and they’re adamant that you should also do THAT.
Your head begins to spin as you begin thinking of the thousand things you need to do. But, how to get started on all THAT!?
Okay… so you need to get your company ready for a possible OSHA inspection. You need to upgrade the company Website, hire a new manager for a key department and upgrade equipment in production. You need to have face-to-face meetings with key clients, and sign up for a “Grow Your Sales” Webinar, you’ve been meaning to do.
Here’s More About THAT…
It’s important to read the great blogs that are online, and meet with an IT company to ensure your network is up to date. Oh, yes, you need to have that tax and financial planning meeting you’ve been avoiding. Then you need to schedule your local industry association’s monthly meeting. Is that all? Oh, and call your congressman and give him a piece of your mind about that stupid bill he voted for.
Of course, social media is where it’s at, and you’d best get cracking on THAT. Your MIS program (that you paid thousands for) needs to be fully implemented. Seems you’ve only been using a few modules for the past five years!
In the meantime, you need to help your wife with your daughter’s upcoming garden wedding. For you, that means painting the fence, debugging the lawn, and repaving the driveway. And don’t forget your son’s baseball game (as coach, of course, you need to be at all the practices). And, oh, it’s time to plan the family vacation… you promised! YES, you really DO need to do all THAT!
You get the picture, and I’m sure I’ve only skimmed the surface of the things you have to do. If you’re like me, there is always someone to remind you: “You need to do THAT!”
However, I suggest that, in order to do THAT, first you really need to do THIS!
So, what is “THIS?”
I guess, it’s really another THAT! But, if you do THIS first, you will be ready for all the THAT’s that come along! So here it is…
Turn-Key your Business using the power of systems! Simple as THAT?
No, but I promise you THIS: with each system you implement correctly in your business, you will gain the TIME to do all the THAT’s that count in your life.
To get started, I suggest you read my book, System Busters: How to Stop Them In Your Business.
You Can Do THIS!
Now, you may be thinking my purpose here is to just sell you my popular, anybody-who-knows-anything-about-business-has-read-it, practical, step-by-step ‘How-to’ business book. But, may I suggest you read someone ELSE’s book, first? It’s “The E-Myth” (‘E’ stands for entrepreneur) by Michael Gerber. THAT one book gave me the inspiration and direction I needed to bring my business to order. Doing THAT gave me time to do the things I always wanted to do, but never thought I had time for.
It was all about THIS: Using the power of systems to move a company to the next level. If you’ve already read “The E-Myth,” I strongly suggest you read it again!
Folks, there is a way to do the THAT’s in life and business, which is what owners and managers should do. However…
I’m a witness to THIS fact: You will never get to all the THAT’s unless you do THIS! Got it? Good!
We can help you do THIS! (How about THAT!?)
Did I mention? Great systems work!
